Two of our CAT students have won three ADDY Awards at the District 5 – American Advertising Awards Competition.
This is a BIG deal for our students and their development as designers and photographers.
Jared Barnard won 2 District 5 Silver ADDY Awards for two of his animations:
- BLEACHERS TOWER AD PROMOTION
- LAKE STREET DIVE BANNER AD
Petrus Steyn won 1 District 5 Silver ADDY Award for his animation of a corporate logo:
- LOTUS PHOTOGRAPHY
The District 5 ADDY Award Competition is a three-state advertising competition. Our students competed with other students from Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia in markets such as Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Columbus in Ohio; Louisville, Lexington, and Bowling Green in Kentucky; and Charleston, Huntington, and Morgantown in West Virginia.
Congratulations to both of our fantastic CAT Students. Now their work will go on to compete at the National level at ADMERICA in late May in Salt Lake City. The first two levels of the ADDY competitions, Louisville and District 5, have been firsts for us. These first two competitions mark the very first time we have ever won the ADDY Awards for animation. So, here’s hoping for our first award at the national level.
